We know the issues. We know all the fixes. The question is - how do you know which fix is right for me? Each option has their own benefits, and one of the first things we do when chatting Mods is to ask three main questions - the history, the end goal, and the goal for now. This is especially important when it comes to bump steer.
We've put this together to highlight just some of the points of difference between the three options we have here at Munji.
-
Our first design is an engineered rack relocation system offering as close to a full fix as possible.
-
Suitable for heavy wheelers, full-time towing, or for those who want to get it 'right the first time'. Jared has this installed on the Rig Build (white Dmax).
-
These require an overnight hold appointment, and need to be fully engineered. In saying this, we have included this in the price, and also request that our modification assessor completes an assessment for all modifiable components that have been installed on your vehicle for one flat rate cost. We also provide a complimentary GVM upgrade during this assessment if your vehicle meets the requirements for the upgrade (vehicle specific).
-
Supply and install cost is $2190, including the required full wheel alignment post-install, all engineering and fabrication, and the modification certificate assessment.
-
No deposit required, payment in full upon collection of vehicle.
-
Most budget friendly option, and offers around a minimum of 60% fix.
-
This is the option that most people opt for as a starting point, as it can always be changed later down the track (whereas the other two cannot). I personally have this installed on my own Dmax, and Jared has this on the MUX.
-
This does not need to be engineered, and is simply a bolt-in kit.
-
This takes less than half a day to install, and we include a complimentary wheel toe alignment.
-
Suitable for daily drivers who do some wheeling and/or towing (not full time)
-
Supply and install price $790 (unless you require a steering extension, which the price would then be $910)
-
No deposit required, payment in full upon collection of vehicle.
OPTION 3 - GENUINE ISUZU KNUCKLES
-
Our third and final option are the redesigned knuckles, which also offer as close to a full fix as possible.
-
This is suitable for those who would like to continue with genuine parts, particularly if you have no other aftermarket modifications on your vehicle, keeping in line with manufacturer warranty standards. I always like to note that even though these are genuine parts, warranty is not always guaranteed and will be at the discretion of Isuzu.
-
This option does not need to be engineered. This does also require a full wheel alignment post-install.
-
Supply and install cost is $2550, which includes the full wheel alignment. We do also require the knuckles to be prepaid at time of booking so we can purchase on your behalf, with the remainder to be paid upon collection of your vehicle. The cost of the knuckles is $1990.
If you're local to the Northern GC, and you're still unsure of which option you need, or if you want us to show you the telltale signs, feel free to arrange a time to pop by the warehouse where we can go over everything with you.
Cheers legends!
