What is this?

A set of Billet Steel and Aluminium Steering rack mounting plates that drop the steering rack down to help correct the steering geometry which is skewed from Factory. A Bash plate spacer is provided to allow for fitment of bash plates, along with templates to assist with cutting off of the rack mounts. The aluminium part of each mount is a bolt on piece that aligns the rack mounts to the chassis and can be either left on or removed after welding. 

The difference between this kit and the OFFSET RACK DROP KIT is that this kit reduces bump steer by ~90%, versus the OFFSET RACK DROP KIT at ~65%. If you have a very heavy car, very soft suspension (ie: Lots of body roll) or regularly tow with heavy ball weight, this is the recommended kit for your vehicle.

If not, you can save some money by going with the OFFSET RACK DROP KIT as it has proven to fix tyre wear issues on cars with less cycling of the front suspension during day to day driving.

This kit needs to be welded into place and requires engineering to your vehicle IF you want to have peace of mind that everything is legal. Munji can provide all relevant documentation proving compliance with the NCOP v3, however the kit needs to be welded by a qualified welder (Cert 3 or higher) and non-destructive testing of the welds completed before being signed off by an engineer. Munji can complete all this work in-house at our Stapylton/Yatala Workshop for a drive in-drive out, road legal Bump Steer correction.

Made from Billet Steel and Billet 6061 Aluminium with a sandblasted and E-Coated/Anodised finish.

What are the benefits?

This kit helps reduce the horrendous bump steer in the latest ISUZU platform, which is causing excessive tire wear on the inner and outer edge of the front wheels. It is much cheaper then other products on the market and corrects the bump steer as much as possible. It will also reduce the pressure on the steering rack due to the factory mounts being welded on different angles.

Dropping the rack also allows for more droop due to better tie rod angles. Combined with our Billet Upper Control Arms we can achieve ~8 Inches of wheel travel at the hub.

YOU MUST GET A WHEEL ALIGNMENT AFTER FITTING!!
