What is this?

A Rear Diff Shield made from stainless steel, which is designed to deflect debris away from the Diff Pumpkin and housing, and act as a sacrificial plate to protect the vital drain point, lower diff centre bolts and prevent damage to the diff when sliding over rocks etc. It fits up using the original bolts on the diff centre so no drilling or modifying required. 

What are the benefits?

Reduces the risk of damage to the Rear Diff centre, especially when going over rocks and rough terrain. 304 marine grade stainless steel for longevity and rust prevention.

What vehicles does this suit?

The following vehicles:-

• 2021 Dmax
• 2021 Mux with updated front suspension links
• 2021 Mazda BT50 with the shared Isuzu components

Installation

Tools required – 14mm Socket and Ratchet 

Installation Time - Approximately 30 mins depending on the tools available and work space.

Difficulty – Basic mechanical knowledge required

You will need to drain the rear diff oil to fit the shield, as the oil will begin to leak from the bolt holes when you remove them. This is a good time to change the rear diff oil as well, so its advisable to fit this part when servicing the rear diff.
