What is this?

This is a specifically made tailshaft spacer to close the gap caused by lifted leaf springs. This spacer is measured to be correct and close the gap without smashing into the bearing and bottoming out when the suspension compresses. 

What are the benefits?

No exposed pinion seal or shaft.

We recommend checking front of tail shaft (Where it slides into gearbox) for rust before install, especially if you are often doing beach runs. If it is rusted up it can damage the seal and cause it to leak.
