What is this?

A pair of Munji Extended Mudflaps to replace the original rubber mudflaps that are located within the rear wheel arch, as seen on the Munji Rig. These Mudflaps are much lower profile then the original rubber mudflaps, giving more tyre clearance in the wheel arch, and the extended width will help cover the tyre poke when fitting bigger offsets. They fit using the original mudflap holes, and can be fitted using the original mudflap bolts, however Countersunk M6 bolts and rivnuts are provided and are the recommended mounting method as they sit flush with the mudflap, giving more tyre clearance. Our testing showed they would work with the X-Terrain and SP Models that have factory 'flares'.

All Munji Inner Guards and Mud Guards are made to order in our warehouse. Please allow up to three weeks for production during regular processing times.

Construction

• Mud Flaps are CNC'd out of High-density Polyethylene (HDPE).
• Black in colour to suit the "Original Look".
• This a UV stable material and will not deteriorate in the sun.
• HDPE is a thermoplastic, which means if for some reason it is out of shape you can simply leave the part out in the sun on a hot day and it will be easy to flatten out again.

What are the benefits?

These Mudflaps are much lower profile then the original rubber mudflaps, giving more tyre clearance in the wheel arch, and the extended width will help cover the tyre poke when fitting bigger offsets. In case of a big impact directly onto the mudflap, the countersunk bolts are designed to pull through the mounting holes on the mudflap, to try save the tub panel from damage.

Width

Three different widths are available for purchase:-

The best way to determine what size will suit your build is to use a measuring tape and measure out from your guard

1. 25mm Extension **closest to factory** - Edge of the Mudflap will poke ~25mm past the guard (Suits tyres that have sidewall poke only)

2. 50mm Extension - Edge of Mudflap will poke ~50mm past the guard (as shown on the test Hilux)

3. BIG BOY 75mm Extension - Edge of Mudflap will poke ~75mm past the guard

GVM Length Requirements

For GVM upgrade certification, you will require longer than standard. Please opt for these selections in the drop down menu. These are made 100mm longer in length than the standard size, it does not affect the width of the mudflap.

The Inner Guards come with Countersunk Bolts and Rivnuts (please note this is the recommended mounting system, however, you will require a Rivnut crimper)
